GROW Weekly Meeting
GROW Weekly Meeting
“Are you feeling anxious, depressed, or overwhelmed by life? Do you feel stuck and alone or like life is a struggle? Free, friendly help is here with GROW’s peer to peer mental wellbeing support groups. Groups meet face to face each week in Turramurra. Online groups are also available every week day and evening.
GROW is free, confidential, and anonymous, and no referral or diagnosis is required. Anyone over the age of 18 can join at any time. GROW is a world-wide, grassroots mental wellbeing movement that started in Australia in 1957, with weekly groups all over Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and the United States.
Joining a GROW group has helped tens of thousands of people get the support and practical tools they need for better mental wellbeing. Research shows that being part of a GROW group helps people build lasting friendships, achieve greater autonomy, learn to cope with life’s challenges, grow self-acceptance, social skills, and a sense of community.
You are not alone; join a GROW group today. For more information on a GROW group near you, contact 1800 558 268 or visit www.grow.org.au

Third Friday each month at Beatrice Taylor Hall, 6:30pm - 9:30pm. Seating at tables. Bring your drinks and snacks and settle in for some beautiful music. Perfect for music lovers. Supper provided.
In July, we're lucky to host talented local, and international star, Glenn Cardier. Onstage, there are the trademark flashes of dark humour in his songs of stark beauty and thumping rockabilly/blues. There’s a touch of Beefheart in his voice, a hint of Cohen in the lyrics, a pinch of Elvis here and there. This is an Australian performer of real distinction.
