Our June guest speaker Stephen O'Dougherty
From the CBAA "Round Table" Stephen gave us valuable insights into community radio.
How "local" and "community" are key to our success.
He is a regular commentator on politics and the media on 702 ABC Sydney and Sky News Australia.
Our first meeting at the Blue Gum Hotel went well and we expect more members to show up next month when we have Mark Parrott (Eagle - Sunday nights) presenting on "portable outside broadcast" where he walked around Sydney and still was able to present as an outside broadcast.  Come to the July 19 meeting to find out how this was accomplished.
