Trevor (Rufus) Richardson - The Music Almanac 8pm - 10pm

10/7/2019

Picture
Rufus has been involved with Triple H 100.1FM since 2009, and has presented THE MUSIC ALMANAC since 2010 on Thursday nights at 8pm.

Rufus is a passionate advocate of community radio and of getting great music out on the airwaves, whether it be new or recent releases, some great local unsigned artists, or digging into his treasure trove of classic sounds. Rufus says: “when it comes down to it, nothing beats great music and bringing the songs and artists I love to a wider audience”.

And after presenting and volunteering at Triple H for close to a decade what keeps Rufus coming back and having fun on air? “I’m still looking for that next great sound to share with the listeners and put a smile on their face as they hear it play out in their ears”.

Noddy is passionate about both community radio and Australian music, and has presented Australian music programs for over a decade since getting involved at Triple H FM in 2006, following previous stints at FBi Radio in Sydney and 2MCE FM in Bathurst.

And as to how he got the nickname “Noddy”, well that’s a long story...
Noddy presents the all-Australian music program AUSSIE MUSIC WEEKLY which is broadcast every Tuesday night at 9.00pm on Triple H 100.1 FM, and also goes out via syndication across the country on the Community Radio Network to around 45 stations.

Beyond his show, Noddy also volunteers at Triple H FM in a number of capacities including working on the station’s Training Committee delivering courses in radio broadcasting to new members of the station, as well as assisting with and coordinating various Triple H FM fundraising events (including our regular community barbeques held at Bunnings).
