Triple H 100.1FM in partnership with Event Cinemas Hornsby
… are proud to announce a FREE exciting new community project for small businesses in Hornsby.
What are Admin Hubs? Small Businesses set aside time to get their Admin done … its as simple as
that. The concept is to block out a half a day every month and work on your admin alongside other
business owners in a facilitated, supportive environment.
The tagline is “Be PROACTIVE. Make the time to work ON your business.”
Event Cinemas provides the free co-working space and internet access and Alexi Boyd, presenter
of Small Biz Matters provides the admin expertise. The other businesses? Well they provide the
supportive environment.
Working alone at home can be isolating and the failure of small businesses are in part, attributed to the
feelings of loneliness. Although for some it improves work/life balance the solution can sometimes be
worse for morale, health and productivity.
A 2013 survey of 'work-from-home' workers by McCrindle Research found 58% were craving more social
interaction and face-to-face contact, while only 25% spoke of the better work/life balance. They found
they ate more food, spent more on office expenses, were unable to relax at home & struggled to muster
enough self-motivation to do a decent job. Source: news.com.au
Admin Hubs are here to tackle this issue for local small businesses and provide the
supported environment, facilitated space and expertise to help them get their Admin
back under control!
