Triple H FM had an Outside Broadcast on Saturday, 26th November at the Hornsby Mall.
Fire and Rescue, National Parks and Wildlife, and Hornsby Council were there.
This was a Triple H initiative and council are now supporting this as an important event engaging with the community. Timing was everything, we have just had a weekend with over 50 bushfires all over NSW, what a promotion.
The various agencies were quick to praise Triple H for taking this on and welcomed the opportunity to help by providing experts on the day so we can interview them with the right questions.
It started with the idea that we haven't had any major outbreaks over the past few years and residents are in a state of apathy. They need to be made aware and prepare for the eventuality of fires at this time of year.
Volunteers welcome, there was a sausage sizzle on the day.
