Jonathan Biggins, actor, director, writer, satirist and entertainer, will share his passion for the performing arts at the ABC Friends Northern Suburbs of Sydney (NSoS) Branch meeting on Thursday 12 December 2024, 11.30am-1pm, at Roseville Uniting Church Hall, 7A Lord Street, Roseville – a short walk from Roseville Railway Station.
Regarded as one of Australia’s most polished performers, Jonathan Biggins will make his final exit from the stage performing in the Wharf Review shortly. After 25 years of making fun of politicians and the machinations of power the Wharf Review will have its final performance in December 2025.
Jonathan Biggins penned the lyrics to the NSoS’ song ‘It’s Our ABC’ based on the tune of ‘Flash Jack from Gundagai’. Each ABC Friends meeting finishes with the audience singing a rendition of this gutsy song that finishes with the words “Don’t think you can ever defeat our ABC”.
Following the talk, guests are welcome to join the ABC Friends for a delicious light lunch (only $10). Booking essential for catering at https://www.abcfriends.net.au/nswact_events
